When About.com relocated to Times Square, they reached out to Gensler to modernize their offices for a highly cohesive, branded workspace within the confines of a modest budget. With creative and efficient use of materials, finishes and graphics—including clever integration of the emblematic red dot—the new environment promotes a stronger connection among employees and to the brand’s identity. Vibrant environmental graphics show the wide variety of topics for which About.com provides expertise. Representing the cultural shift embodied by the new office, a central boulevard connects both the space—from the reception area to the conference rooms and large pantry area—and the staff.
