A comfortable, upscale tavern featuring contemporary American cuisine, Flint is a place where everyone in town gathers to meet old friends or make new ones. To reflect this attitude, Gensler designed the space with a western sensibility — well-worn and welcoming. Located in the historic Colcord Hotel, the tavern is clad in old-growth walnut and features leather booths, a community table, a fireplace and a large outdoor terrace. Warm lighting, forged bronze hardware and a patterned ceiling offer a contemporary homage to the city’s frontier past.
