Getty Images’ 59,000-square-foot space at 605 Union Station presented a unique opportunity to impact the future of the company, which has evolved significantly during the past decade. The largest stock image company in the U.S., Getty sought flexibility, efficiency and innovation in its new space. Open work environments are coupled with support zones to provide private and semi-private space for each department. The architecture has a raw, industrial feel to counterbalance the refined technical nature of the company’s business. Drawing on the importance of the image, the company’s photographic resources are carefully curated throughout the space that becomes a canvas for Getty’s own imagery.
