Morrison Foerster

New York, New York

For Morrison Foerster's new 250 West 55th Street office, Gensler paired its creative direction with extensive knowledge of the firm and legal industry trends to design an elegant, timeless workplace. Visitors are received in a double-height reception area bathed in natural light. A communicating stair and sculptural light fixture connect two amenity floors and serve as a counterpoint to the city views. The firm commissioned artist Markus Linnenbrink to create original wall paintings at each elevator lobby, unifying the eight conference and practice floors. The resulting office supports the firm’s work, enhances Morrison Foerster’s reputation to potential clients and staff, and helps attract new tenants to the building.
