Reed Smith LLP, London

London, United Kingdom

The driving goal for Reed Smith’s flagship London office was to foster relationships. Space for this was made ample. Practice floors are designed around access to light and views, with clerestory walls and glass partitions. Breakout areas and teaming tables provide room for collaboration, and furniture and demountable partitions are easily changed as needed. Offices feature storage buried in walls, giving more floor space to accommodate larger meeting. A staff amenities floor holds a versatile restaurant used not only at lunch but also for team meetings and as a respite for workers. The LEED®-CI Silver certification of this project affirms the sustainable measures initiated across the board.
