The AXIS, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino

Formerly known as PH LIVE, the newly renovated AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is the largest theater of its kind in the United States. Gensler’s renovation of the legendary theater focused on creating an intimate and engaging sensory experience for guests through the incorporation of an innovative avant-garde and mood-driven design concept. Resembling a luxury nightclub, the updated lobby provides guests with new opportunities for socialization and includes concourse areas highlighted by a sweeping acoustical wall and proscenium arc, providing a highly visual transition into the theater. The renovation includes a unique, one-of-a-kind tiered VIP lounge, along with general seating to accommodate more than 6,700 people. In addition to a state-of-the-art sound stage system, images and video can be projected over 2,200-square-feet of high-definition LED walls, creating a truly immersive visual experience for guests.
