Young & Rubicam, New York

New York, New York

Founded on a commitment to “Resist the Usual,” Y&R recently celebrated its 90th year as advertising icon with a bold move to New York’s Columbus Circle—an opportunity, Y&R saw, to reset its brand and create a collaborative work environment in synergy with the city. After repositioning the building at 3CC, Gensler held visioning sessions with the firm; the new workplace was conceived as a cradle of ideas. H-shaped floor plans provided for a range of focus and collaborative environments that supports a “be anywhere” culture. Each of the 10 floors vibrantly reflects the individual brand it houses, which collectively form Y&R; outdoor terraces offer staff spectacular views of Central Park.
