Randy is a global leader for Gensler’s Healthcare practice area. His leadership in design leverages a belief in multidisciplinary partnerships and creates new models for healing, learning, and working. Drawing on the design work he has led across building types including Education, Sciences and Workplace, his client’s projects are celebrated for their critical design success and their enhancement of access to healthy, dignified, optimistic, and engaging environments for all. Randy’s experience leading award-winning projects includes the design of OhioHealth NeuroScience Wellness Center, which was recognized as a 2023 winner of the AIA Healthcare Design Award.

As a Design Fellow in the American Institute of Architects, Randy has been recognized with more than 50 local, national, and international design awards over 30 years and is a member of the National ULI Health Sciences Council. He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with degrees in fine art and architecture. Randy is university lecturer and critic and has expanded the profession’s commitment to mentorship and partnerships with higher education through enabling unique ‘in-residence’ studio programs for students.
