Sheryl is a Global Building Transformation & Adaptive Reuse Leader. A trusted advisor to many, Sheryl is a client advocate who is known for being able to clearly capture and deliver clients’ goals and objectives successfully. This is augmented by her vast experience throughout numerous sectors, supplemented with her strong communication and client relationship skills. Today, Sheryl is focused on direct relationships with developers repositioning existing buildings and the neighborhoods that they reside in. She works closely with clients to bring sustainability to existing building stock and reduce carbon footprint. She led the team on the largest adaptive reuse project in the nation, repositioning the Old Chicago Post Office. Prior to joining Gensler, Sheryl managed planning and construction for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago during the crucial time of financial reform. She led and collaborated with 11 other Reserve Banks to create best practices and metrics for workplace. Prior to that, Sheryl worked at global design firms partnering with clients to develop strategies that address human capital, place, and brand.
