The client sought to create an iconic building in a premier location on Downtown San Diego’s waterfront. Perched over the Embarcadero and San Diego Bay, the mixed-use project leverages the site to enhance the public realm and accessibility to the waterfront with an iconic hotel situated above a two-acre rooftop plaza. The result is a mixed-use project that honors and reinforces the San Diego Bay and reconnects the urban fabric of the city to the bay, the trolley to the ferry, and MLK Park to South Park.
