Amgen São Paulo

São Paulo, Brazil

Expanding to Latin America, Amgen acquired a Brazilian company and sought to bring the workplace design up to the standards of the California Headquarters, while preserving a local look and feel. With a collaborative environment in mind, open workstations were relocated near windows and closed offices held to the core, allowing natural daylight into the space and reducing energy consumption. Amgen’s standard color palette was applied to walls, finishes, carpet, tile and furniture, while local touches — including a greenwall of native flora, locally designed furniture and wood flooring in key areas — provide a warm, contemporary feel that celebrates staff and the Amgen culture.
