Haywire

Plano, Texas

Haywire partnered with Gensler to create a restaurant that offers an authentic experience rooted in Texas hospitality—one where you can indulge your senses in an environment that is as playful and modern as it is hearty and rustic. Its prime location in the Legacy West mixed-use development allows the restaurant to take advantage of the surrounding amenities, including live music at the neighboring courtyard concert venue. The space is not just a restaurant, but an experience. Throughout its three floors, patrons are immersed in a Texan experience that is elevated, modern, and unique. The first floor includes a full-service premier whiskey bar where bartenders chip away at a large, backlit block of ice sitting atop a custom leatherized granite bar. Guests can enjoy custom cocktails and lounge in custom leather swing chairs. The second and third floors include space for events and private dining, restaurant goers can watch as their food is prepared fresh from the bakery and charcuterie bar and then paired with a selection from the glass walled wine room. Furthering the idea of making a meal a sensory experience, the kitchen is open to diners, who can see, smell, and hear their food being prepared.
