Hohokam Stadium and Lew Wolff Training Complex

Mesa, Arizona

The Oakland Athletics Baseball Club and the City of Mesa engaged Gensler to update and rebrand Hohokam Stadium and Fitch Park – formerly occupied by the Chicago Cubs – to become the new spring training home for the Oakland A’s. Fan experience improvements in the 10,000-seat stadium include reconfiguration for larger seats, a new scoreboard, concession upgrades, graphics and signage. A remodeled interior main concourse with 360-degree outfield views improves ballpark circulation. Lew Wolff Training Complex, formerly Fitch Park, has been extensively renovated through a 22,000-square-foot expansion and rebranding that includes improvements to five practice fields. Both facilities are now open.
