The needs of both photographers and celebrities were carefully considered in the design of Smashbox Studios' premier studio facility. Gensler opened up the lobby, which serves as the studio hub, to the high-volume wood truss structure above. The ample space now accommodates a lounge, library and concierge; and a new loft-like mezzanine provides a private VIP area. Adjacent to the full-service coffee bar, a rotating art display reveals a hidden speakeasy. Inside, each individual photo studio incorporates luxury amenities including a private restroom, kitchenette, workstation, wardrobe room, and makeup stations, all with hue-controlled lighting systems, and some featuring private patios where clients can relax between takes.
