NorthEdge is the new headquarters building for data visualization company, Tableau. The design reflects Tableau’s desire for a simple and elegant workplace design. The basic materials of concrete, wood, and blackened steel are elevated by their precisely curated and detailed use throughout the lobby space, the dining hub, and the employee collaboration areas. A network of curated experiences — where employees can gather, cook, relax, and work — encourages people to explore the entirety of the building, engaging with teams and individuals across the company. The workplace is designed with integrated flexibility to accommodate any Tableau team — from quiet heads-down space for developers to buzzy space for sales teams.
