Barry Bourbon, AIA, LEED AP

Barry is one of Gensler’s global leaders in Retail & Consumer Experience design. A Principal with more than 30 years of experience, he has worked on numerous high-profile projects and rollout programs with some of the world’s leading retail companies. He blends his talents for developing multidisciplinary project teams — including Retail, Brand, Digital Experience, and Hospitality experts — across a range of retail categories to deliver exceptional projects that align with his clients’ business objectives. Barry is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Architectural Retail Environments, and the Retail Design Institute. A Registered Architect, he earned a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and pursued additional courses at Denmark’s International Studies Program at the University of Copenhagen and the Urban Retail Courses at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
