Critical Facilities Practice Area Leader, Senior Associate

Through his extensive work with large-scale financial services headquarters, Jim developed a specialty in trading floors and data centers, cultivating a reputation as a go-to resource for the design of technically complex environments. His work has been implemented on four continents, including the first LEED®-certified data center in North America. A founding member and Firmwide Leader of Gensler’s Critical Facilities Practice Area, as well as a Design Director in the New York office, Jim has received numerous awards including from the AIA, the British Institute of Facilities Managers, New York Construction News, Engineering News-Record and the Municipal Art Society. A registered architect with 35 years of experience, Jim holds a Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University of Ohio.
