Peter co-manages our Oakland office, as well as leading the Commercial Office Building Developers Practice Area and directing the architectural practice for the Northwest Region. Fascinated by community and the human condition, he applies his natural inquisitiveness to making places that improve how we live, work and play. His leadership in urban development reflects a passion for sustainability and intelligent architecture that performs for its owners while inspiring its users. A Gensler Principal and native New Yorker, Peter served on the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) NY Chapter Board of Directors and the USGBC Northeast Regional Council. Currently he is the San Francisco City Chair for the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat and serves on the Building Design+Construction Editorial Review Board, the Junior Achievement of Northern California Board of Directors, and Syracuse University’s School of Architecture Peer Advisory Board.
