Shy Khalilahmadi

With roots in both advertising and interior architecture, Shy is a Design Director who brings a unique perspective as a brand liaison across many scales and dimensions. She has worked on a wide spectrum of clientele, from supporting small non-profit organizations to leading award-winning brand design for large Fortune 500 consumer goods and tech companies. Her curious mind and creative spirit are fueled by conversations. She prioritizes getting to know a client’s audience, helps paint a clear vision during early conceptual stages, and ensures design integrity is maintained by working closely with designers and fabricators to create innovative design solutions. Shy is passionate about building relationships and engaging with the community by bringing in local talent to add meaningful impact to projects, and also creates standards in documenting design intent.

Shy approaches design with empathy and is informed by her personal experiences and deep design knowledge. She is both a listener and a seeker, but most identifies as a storyteller who uses agile thinking to push design to new places and elevate the brands she touches.
