Sonya is a Firmwide Leader for Gensler’s Financial Services Practice Area and Director of Workplace Strategy in our New York office. Clients seek out Sonya’s advice when considering a portfolio consolidation, headquarters building, workplace strategy or change management related to the design of a new space. Sonya is a frequent speaker on panels for events and conferences such as Social Media Week, The Future of Work and Play at Microsoft, NeoCon, the Global Coworking Conference and more. She is an active member of CoreNet, the American Society of Interior Designers, the Association of Real Estate Women; and she was recently inducted as a Fellow of the ASID, for which she has also served as a board member. Sonya serves on the Advisory Board for the New York School of Interior Design and the board of Design Ignites Change, and participates in Real World Design Week. She also leads Gensler’s Emerge program, supporting next-generation Client Relationship leaders.
