Baxter Korea

Seoul, South Korea

Following a recent merger, Baxter sought a workplace-of-the-future to accommodate its combined Korean workforce. Drawing on principles of the activity-based workplace, hot-desking and energy efficiency, the space offers a wide range of dynamic, collaborative communal spaces and abundant natural daylight. In the reception area, uniformly distributed light bounces off ceiling beams and wall slats, visually elongating the space and providing long sight lines into various work areas. Accent colors and strong contrasts reflect Baxter’s commitment for community diversity and inclusion. Mindful of the brand’s new corporate identity, the new space responds to the many different needs of the two merging companies.
