Intelsat Headquarters

Tysons Corner, Virginia

Located at the center of the vibrant, Gensler-designed Tysons Tower, Intelsat’s futuristic headquarters catalyzes staff connections and reinforces the story of Intelsat as a leader in satellite communications. In relocating from its iconic Washington, D.C., office building to this Virginia suburb, Intelsat not only gained the ability to accommodate future growth but transformed its use of space—moving from 86 percent private offices to nearly the same percentage in open workspaces. The space encourages mobility—a nod toward retaining employees with longer commutes. A 24/7 Satellite Operations Center showcases the company’s ongoing operations.
