Located in the Cultural Terrace of Irvine’s Great Park, Gensler is designing a new, 14,000 capacity amphitheater. The Irvine Amphitheater extends the legacy of live outdoor music in Irvine starting in 1980 with the Irvine Meadows amphitheater. The new music venue will feature a variety of seating experiences including suites, boxes, terrace, stadium, lawn, and flexible floor seating. Its sprawling and activated pre-function plaza will include bars, a food hall, a cocktail village, yard games, and food trucks. The live music venue will offer elevated experiences for ticket-holders such as thoughtfully curated food and beverage options, as well as premium club spaces. The Irvine Amphitheater will serve as the heart of the park, with multimodal connections through the Great Park neighborhoods and amenities with streamlined connection to Irvine Train Station. The Irvine Amphitheater is slated to open in 2024.
