Tango's new headquarters reflects this leading mobile messaging company’s design approach for the Tango app, with connectivity and engagement at its core. It was important to Tango that its workplace include spaces where spontaneous social interactions could occur and great ideas be born. Working closely with the company for six months, Gensler’s design team turned this one-time biotech office into a vibrant workplace environment reflective of Tango’s family-oriented culture, where social connections are easy, varied and meaningful to employees. The open-office layout incorporates a variety of signature focus, collaboration and social areas that express Tango’s Bay Area roots.
