In designing environments for education, Nathan combines his more than 15 years of experience with a deep conviction in the power of education and the promise of its global impact. His work spans public and private universities, including the California State system; community colleges; public and private K–12; and charter schools. As a Principal and Studio Director, Nathan fosters a collaborative process that leads to design innovation and technical excellence. Combining creative talent and in-depth practical experience, he seamlessly bridges all project phases while interfacing with clients, consultants and public agencies. Nathan serves as a board member for the Asian American Architects/Engineers Association, is on the Board of Regents for the Da Vinci Schools and is on the Advisory Board for Schools That Can. Nathan received his Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, and has remained involved in design education as an advisor to the Da Vinci Schools.
