A Co-Managing Director of Gensler Austin, Ed is also a former Firmwide Leader of Gensler’s Hospitality Practice, having developed a breadth of experience that ranges from intimate 100-key hotels to 4,000-key resorts and from unique boutiques to urban convention center hotels. He has designed more than 50 hotels worldwide, totaling 30 million square feet and 28,000 keys. Ed is on the Advisory Board of Hospitality Style Magazine and is a member of the ULI Recreational Development Council. A longtime supporter of the Boy Scouts, he sits on the Sam Houston Area Council Executive Board as Vice Chair of Programs. A registered architect and interior designer, Ed holds a degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University.
