Elizabeth serves as a Firmwide Leader for Gensler’s Tall Buildings Practice Area, focused on insuring the integration of the architectural design with the numerous specialty systems and components of high-rise structures. Prior to joining Gensler, Elizabeth worked at some of the world’s leading architectural firms, assuming leadership roles on prominent international projects. As a Senior Technical Architect at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, LLP, she was responsible for the technical development (conceptual design through construction) of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Throughout her professional career, Elizabeth has specialized in the design and documentation of custom exterior walls, pursuing research into many aspects of exterior wall systems and collaborating with major curtain wall manufacturers worldwide. A Gensler Design Director, she earned a Master’s of Science in Architecture from Cracow Polytechnic in Poland.
