As a Strategic Advisor to Gensler’s Education Practice Area, Kimberly brings a breadth and depth of project experience, including libraries, labs, housing and academic facilities. She believes that education is the foundation to the future and uses creative problem solving and great design to impact students, faculty and staff. Kimberly has led Gensler’s research on libraries and recently collaborated on a book focusing on technology for the classroom. Having earned a reputation for her passionate commitment to sustainability, Kimberly was elected to the AIA College of Fellows for delivering cost-effective sustainable design through innovative collaboration. She holds a M.Arch. and B.Arch. from the University of Kansas and a BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University. Kimberly directs Gensler Houston’s Community Studio.
