Kyle is a Registered Architect and Principal in Gensler’s Chicago office. As a Studio Director, he has worked across many project types, including automotive, hospitality, workplace, mixed-use and commercial office buildings, with particular leadership in retail rollouts for renowned clients such as Toyota and Walgreens. During his 21-year career he has also served as a Firmwide Leader of Gensler’s Retail Practice Area. Committed to raising community awareness of incurable diseases and disorders, Kyle is the co-founder of the Chicago office’s Big Ed Bowl (BEB), which honors Ed Erhardt, a former colleague lost to cancer in 2006. BEB has raised more than $1,000,000 over 10 years for the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Kyle received his Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University.
