Pat is an internationally recognized expert on planning, designing and managing aviation facility projects. As a Firmwide Leader of Gensler's Aviation & Transportation practice, he draws on his 30 years of experience to deliver long-range strategic planning for terminals of all sizes around the globe. Pat is an active participant with the Airports Council International North America and the American Association of Airport Executives. He has also held various leadership roles for the Airport Consultants Council, including Chairman of the Terminal Committee. Media outlets such as National Public Radio (NPR), The Wall Street Journal and Aviation Week often turn to Pat for his thoughts on the industry, and he frequently serves as a visiting critic at the University of Kansas and the University of Illinois. A Registered Architect, he holds a Bachelor of Architecture (with honors) from the University of Illinois.
