Sidney describes herself as “a design integrator.” Across the span of her 30-year career, this role has clarified her focus on project delivery for clients. Each design assignment she leads and manages exemplifies the integration of design and technical expertise. Sidney translates the diverse needs and personalities of her clients into built environments that promote success for their organizations. One of the original Principals who founded Gensler’s Seattle office, Sidney has played a significant role in growing and shaping one of the top design practices in the Pacific Northwest. As a NAIOP mentor, she teaches young real estate professionals the art of cross-disciplinary collaboration. Sidney’s clients represent a remarkable range of diversity, from tech and law firms to retail and hospitality. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Washington State University, with a Minor in Fine Arts.
