Jonathan is a Principal and Design Director in Gensler’s London office, bringing over 35 years of international experience as an architect and interior designer delivering projects across cities globally. His work spans placemaking, hospitality, workplace, and retail design across both core and luxury markets, partnering with high-profile developers, hotel operators, owners, and global brands to shape destinations that transform cities and support economic regeneration.

Renowned for his ability to craft compelling narratives and experiential environments, Jonathan focuses on creating places that resonate deeply with end users and communities alike. His approach goes beyond aesthetics, prioritising enduring value, emotional connection, and meaningful user experience to create environments that stand the test of time.

Jonathan is actively engaged in design education and mentorship. He regularly serves as a visiting critic at leading architecture and design schools and supports initiatives that contribute to the development of the next generation of design talent.
