Joyen is Managing Director of Gensler’s Las Vegas office and serves as the firm’s Global Director of Hospitality. A recognized leader in the hospitality and integrated resort sectors, Joyen brings more than three decades of experience guiding the design and delivery of iconic projects around the world.
Before joining Gensler, Joyen served in executive roles at Bally’s and MGM Resorts International, and led transformative developments including winning the only casino license in Chicago Down Town, Bally’s Temp Casino, Bally’s permanent casino, Bally’s and A’s Las Vegas, CityCenter, Aria, Crystals, Delano, The Park at T-Mobile Arena, and Fallen Oak Golf Course. His longstanding collaboration with Gensler helped shape the modern Las Vegas experience and advancements in guest-centered design.
Joyen is known for his strategic insight, deep technical expertise leading high-profile large-scale developments, and passion for innovation in hospitality environments.
