Julia is a Co-Regional Managing Principal for Gensler’s Northeast region, and a member of Gensler’s Board of Directors and Management Committee, for which she focuses her efforts on client relationships and leadership development. She is also Chair of the board’s Talent and Compensation Committee focusing on strategies designed to recruit, retain, and reward the highest level of expertise and talent within the firm. During her 33-year career, Julia has been recognized as a premier expert in workplaces for the professional services industry and as a trusted advisor to many of the most respected global law firms. She has also led large, complex workplace projects for financial services, media, and consumer goods companies. Julia’s projects — such as Boston Consulting Group, Condé Nast’s headquarters, Hearst Tower, and Gensler’s New York office — have been recognized by numerous organizations. She has also received awards such as the Interior Design Best of Year Award and the CoreNet Global Award. Her work has been published in Interior Design, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and Architectural Record. She serves on the Tuxedo Park, New York Board of Architectural Review and has spoken at many industry conferences and events. Julia was honored in 2011 by the Girls Inc. organization and in 2015 by Right to Dream. She currently sits on the board of Right to Dream USA. Julia received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from the University of Iowa.
