In India, one of the best ways to engage with your neighbors is to experience a shared meal. When this tech client sought out innovative ways to drive employee engagement, Gensler developed that idea into a new design for a uniquely stimulating and dynamic cafeteria. The design team collaborated with the kitchen staff to understand the menu, plan necessary kitchen equipment, and design front-of-house cooking stations, back-of-house preparation areas, engineering infrastructure, and food display opportunities. A tech-enhanced ordering and pickup system helps streamline operations, and a specific look-and-feel was developed for each dining experience to highlight the drama of live cooking.
