Designed to meet NCAA Division II standards, this 26,000-square-foot expansion of the M. Gordon Clarke Field House and Student Union joins sports and student life in a multipurpose hub for recreation and wellness on the California State University (CSU) San Marcos campus. In addition to a new 1,400-seat basketball facility, the Field House includes new locker rooms and support spaces, and focuses on promoting student engagement through sports, educational and social events. Targeting a LEED® Silver rating, the Field House will exemplify the university’s sustainability and wellness-related goals.
