Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan

Toronto, Ontario

After more than 30 years in its uptown location, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) moved into its expansive new workplace in the heart of Toronto’s Financial District. Spanning across ten floors, the workplace is a representation of OTPP’s commitment to delivering outstanding service and retirement security for its members, while also prioritizing wellness, sustainability, and flexibility for each of its employees.

Divided into three distinct ecosystems across 342,000 square feet, OTPP drastically reduced its assigned office space to foster greater in-office connection and flexibility through open floor plans designed for collaboration, quiet zones, and meeting spaces. To reflect OTPP’s commitment to educating Canadians about Reconciliation, the workplace features a Downie Wenjack Legacy Space, complete with a mural commissioned by an Indigenous artist. All artwork and installations displayed throughout the workspace are proudly crafted by artists native to the land.
