In designing their new 250,000-square-foot headquarters, Putnam sought to develop a seamless user experience that centers around high touch, high brand, and high tech. Their goal was to showcase and celebrate their brand while engaging with the community at street level. The new headquarters space includes a renovated main lobby with communication stairs to the mezzanine/roof terrace, second floor conference center, and business lounge, along with eight workplace floors, one of which is a trading floor. The cohesive experience continues through to the upper work floors with layouts that promote Putnam’s culture of community and support the variety of departments, workflows, and styles. This new environment provides Putnam with a headquarters that reinforces their brand, mission, and values.
