Quest Diagnostics National Operations Center, Tampa
Following a nationwide search, Quest selected Tampa for its new National Operations Center, a strategic consolidation of its Logistics, Dispatch, Client Services and Human Resources. The design driver for the new space was creating a “nexus,” or nerve center, bringing together vital components of the company into a single collaborative environment. The "Core" anchors then center with a nucleus of active, transparent gathering spaces; the Artery, connects the nucleus to unique work neighborhoods; and the Synapse splices avenues to neighborhoods via innovation nodes. The resulting space conveys the company’s core strengths, prompts chance encounters and encourages collaboration between the different departments.
