Zendesk Madison

Zendesk’s new workplace in Madison, Wisconsin, reinforces the essential attributes of their company culture: real, distilled, charming, and humblident (confident and humble mashup) while at the same time being true to the local character of city. Inspired by the town square where the office is located, the workplace has a town square of its own — a central hub for shared amenities including micro kitchens, all hands, co-working lounges, training rooms, and a library. The communal spaces are juxtaposed with varied work areas that offer employees and visitors the additional settings they need to focus, collaborate, and build relationships. True to Zendesk’s Scandinavian heritage, the Gensler team used the softness of raw, honest materials in contrast with clean architectural forms.
