Dylan Jones, AIA

Mobility & Transportation Leader, Cities Sector Leader, Principal

Dylan is a global leader of Gensler’s Mobility & Transportation practice, who works at the intersection of private development and public infrastructure. His work is guided by the belief that mobility is a core building block of every sustainable city in the 21st century. Dylan is a licensed architect and strategic planner with over 20 years of experience in planning and design for both private and public sector clients.

He has led the development of numerous transit-oriented community redevelopment plans, including a number of innovation districts, master plans, strategic plans, and mixed-use architectural projects. He founded and currently directs Gensler’s Mobility Lab, which focuses on how mobility disruptions are reshaping the way we consume live-work-play experiences, and in turn, the future city.

Dylan holds a Master of Architecture from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, and a Bachelor of Economics from Washington State University. His diverse clients span public transportation agencies, airport authorities, cities, major technology companies, and individual private developers. Dylan currently plays an active role with Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Airports Consultant Council (ACC).
