Kimberly Bombery Smith

Kimberly Bombery Smith is Co-Managing Director of Gensler’s Philadelphia office, where she partners with clients and colleagues to drive growth, strengthen relationships, and deliver innovative workplace solutions. With more than 30 years of experience spanning workplace strategy, corporate real estate, design, and organizational transformation, Kimberly helps organizations align their business goals, culture, and employee experience to create high-performing environments.

Prior to joining Gensler, Kimberly served as Senior Vice President of Workplace Planning and Strategy at JLL, advising clients on workplace transformation, portfolio planning, and change management initiatives. Before JLL, she spent more than two decades with MillerKnoll, where she rose to Senior Director of Workplace Strategy and became a recognized leader in helping organizations define and achieve their workplace goals. Earlier in her career, Kimberly held leadership roles in Corporate Real Estate at Merrill Lynch, managing large-scale workplace and brand transformation initiatives.

A passionate advocate for design’s impact on people and business performance, Kimberly brings a collaborative approach to leadership and a deep commitment to mentoring future generations of industry professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Thomas Jefferson University and is a LEED Accredited Professional, Prosci Change Management Certified professional, and Accredited Office Ergonomics Evaluator.
