As Co-Managing Director of Gensler’s New York office, Tom McGoldrick brings strategic vision and technical rigor to some of the most complex and high-performance built environments. With deep expertise across healthcare, sciences, institutions, aviation, government and defense, corporate campuses, and critical facilities, Tom is a trusted advisor to organizations shaping the future of cities. He plays a hands-on leadership role in delivering transformative, large-scale projects for clients such as LEGO, Microsoft, Equinix, Meta, Brookhaven National Lab, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Foreign Affairs for Ireland, Longfellow, Deerfield, NYU Langone Health, and Morgan Stanley.
Previously Gensler’s Northeast Region Leader for Critical Facilities and Government & Defense, Tom has helped shape the firm’s strategy in these fast-evolving practice areas. He continues to mentor emerging leaders across the firm, fostering a culture of design excellence, technical precision, and purpose-driven collaboration.
