William Heyer, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
Project Director, Principal
William is a licensed architect and a Studio Director in Gensler’s Los Angeles office, where he oversees accounts and projects for some of Gensler’s most prominent financial and professional service clients, including Capital Group, JPMorgan Chase, Deloitte, and BlackRock, as well as media and tech companies like Live Nation, Verizon, and Alphabet. He also works with clients in aerospace, tech, and advanced manufacturing.
William is a leader in Gensler’s Product Development Practice Area, where he develops business strategies for the creation and launch of products with admired brands and manufacturers for goods ranging from lighting to architectural wall systems. His projects have won IIDA awards, the COD Awards, Interior Design Magazine HiP Award, NYCxDESIGN award, and shortlisted for the 2025 Compasso D’Oro award by ADI Associazione per il Disegno Industriale.
William volunteers as a Commissioner of Public Works for the City of Beverly Hills. He advises the City Council on matters involving water, streets, alleys, solid waste collections, wastewater, and storm drains. William also serves on the Board of the Dean’s Council for the Stuart Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude and a Master of Architecture.
