Denver, Colorado

Looking to maximize the potential of a challenging site located in Denver’s Lower Downtown (LoDo) district, the client enlisted Gensler to lead the design direction of a 10-story, 332,000-square-foot, mixed-use building situated at the prominent corner of 16th and Market streets. Comprising four floors of luxury apartments, ground-floor retail and Class AA office space, and including three levels of below-grade parking, the innovative, mixed-use building fits seamlessly into LoDo’s urban context. The building’s modern design pays homage to the historic neighborhood through the use of brick and features a tailored materials selection and highly defined details, setting a new standard for authentic, modern architecture in downtown Denver.
