Berkeley Research Group Houston
Houston, Texas
CHALLENGE
As professional services firms rethink the role of the workplace in an era of hybrid work, competition for talent, and rising employee expectations, organizations increasingly seek to create efficient, experience‑driven environments that draw people in. For Berkeley Research Group, that meant transforming its new space on the 69th floor of Houston’s JPMorgan Chase Tower into an inviting, light-filled environment that would support a growing team within a compact footprint.
SOLUTION
The design maximizes daylight and maintains clear sight lines to the city views. Amenity and conferencing spaces are co-located at the front of the office, so employees and visitors experience an unobstructed view of downtown upon entry. Work areas are tucked behind, split into two zones for functionality and flow. An open layout provides focused work areas without sacrificing natural light. The plan prioritizes group conferencing and shared spaces to encourage interaction.
IMPACT
The refreshed space has brought employees back to the office while supporting hiring and retention goals. The design allows the team to expand for planned growth without compromising comfort or functionality. Upgraded technology and improved spatial flow created a high-performing workplace, while views and daylight deliver an energizing, memorable experience. The result is a modern, efficient environment that reflects the firm’s culture while equipping them for continued success.
