Multiple Locations, Japan

In relocating its Tokyo office, Ericsson Japan sought to accommodate staff growth and improve work efficiency for its fast-changing industry. The new design provides a friendly environment that fosters communication. To facilitate flexible growth and team formations, a free-address work style was adapted; adjacent to the main open-office area, hot desks, quiet rooms and telephone booths allow staff to continuously choose the workspace that meets their individual needs and moods. The success experienced at this workplace triggered the design of four additional Ericsson offices and a new lab.
