Gensler New York

New York, New York

Playing off the Theater District setting of their new workplace at 1700 Broadway, Gensler’s New York office is a back-stage look at what makes a design firm tick. The space is full of dramatic touchpoints, including a five-story interconnected staircase that features a 20-foot tall LED light marquee. The space includes an abundance of amenities, conference rooms and informal meeting areas. The workplace features sit-stand desks and a bike room to encourage health and well-being. Additionally, a model shop, design library, visualization theater, work cafes and “collaboration avenues”—flexible spaces that celebrate and enable the design process—showcase Gensler’s vision for a new way of collaborative working.
