Havas Boston Village
Boston, Massachusetts
The new Havas Boston Village transforms a historic candy factory in Boston’s Seaport into a vibrant, 50,000-square-foot workplace that’s home to four of the company’s agencies — Havas Media, Arnold, Havas Life Rare, and Havas Edge. Distinct office neighborhoods and flexible work settings form a “village” layout that celebrates the range of creative talents while offering choice for both individuals and teams.
Inspired by the building’s heritage, the design incorporates authentic details and thoughtfully repurposed materials that bring character to each setting. Shared spaces include a creative commons, production studio, and broadcast suite, as well as terrace for gatherings and a town hall that hosts up to 150 guests. Wayfinding references the building’s original use as a candy factory, with room signage and elevator graphics modeled on Necco wafers.
A dynamic wheatpaste wall showcasing agency work, along with reclaimed elements and playful touches, reflects the personality of the agencies and their teams. The result is an inventive, sustainable workplace that supports the full spectrum of work and culture and pays homage to its surroundings.
