Lamar University is a public research university in Beaumont, Texas. After investing in a new student center and student housing, Lamar sought to give life to the heart of its campus with a new science and technology building. The building predominately supports the biology and chemistry departments, and also meets a local need — providing a facility to support STEM training to accommodate local industries.
